Opera mini

Opera mini is browser for Java phones. It minimizes website on operas server so you get smaller data transfer and you are able to read huge sites on small screen.

Opera mini is quite fast to download websites, but sometimes it fails and doesn't load anything. If that happens close opera, restart GPRS/3G/phone and try again. Default search engine is yahoo! and you just cant remove it, but you can add Google as second engine (unfortunately, on previous version 3.0 it is hardcoded to yahoo, and it doesn't work anymore.)

Rendering works very well. You can chose from two modes how it render pages.. Default shows layout of site like tables divs etc. "mobilephonedisplay" minimizes site width to your phone. This is also faster and it works better. On older phone I recommend second render mode. (you can change it from options) There is also feature to turn display 90 degrees. This doesn't work on my phone (Siemens m75) but it sounds great.

If you have fail to install/use 4.0 try 3.0 it works usually better and it have themes! Before downloading you can try opera mini on virtual machine. It is also good way to check how your website works on small screen.
